Microcontroller for beginner

Do you wanna be a good robot maker or automation system master? You have to know this first. Before you try to make robot with automation system, you have to know what is microcontroller. Microcontroller is computer-on-a-chip. It is a type of microprocessor emphasizing self-sufficiency and cost-effectiveness, in contrast to a general-purpose microprocessor (the kind used in a PC) (based on wikipedia.org). Microcontroller have the same function as microprocessor. The only difference between a microcontroller and a microprocessor is that a microprocessor has three parts - ALU, Control Unit and registers (like memory), while the microcontroller has additional elements like ROM, RAM etc.
